Christmas Eve 2009

Push pause to the right before reading!

Here's the scene: Early Christmas Eve afternoon. Our kitchen. Snowing outside. Santa cookie baking and decorating time.

(Don't judge the mother for buying pre-made sugar cookies......she's not a good baker and the nausea from Baby R. was slowing trickling in.)

Colored sprinkles in small bowls, frosting in the jar, Grayson on a stool, ready to reach the necessities.

Mommy was methodical with her frosting and placement of the sprinkles......Grayson was not.

And then this happens. Did anyone see me?

Mommy is an intense cookie artist. She has vision. But she was also aware of Grayson's shenanigans.

And then this happens.....again. I know I'm caught, but all she did was squawk, so I'm good to go.

The finished product.....not too shabby!

Then, Mommy had to go to work......again. Geesh!

We were so lucky to have snow this year & it was sooo pretty! Great way to bring 2009 to an end! And Grayson is too cute. Those cookies are mighty pretty ma'am! Good job! Hope baby R isn't making you too sicky. For some reason jolly ranchers were the only thing that got me thru the Cheese & the day for that matter! Then 14 weeks to the day hit, and I was good to go! :) It's almost time for Disney...hope you have the best time ever! Can't wait to see those pictures!
(((((hugs)))))
And what was Daddy Kev building you?? I'm nosey!

Thanks Linds!

Kevin was building me a new pantry!!! So exciting, I know.....but ours had the white wire shelving and my cans kept falling over and a certain little someone likes to scale the shelves for snacks. They have now all been replaced with white wood!
