I know you don't feel well....snotty noses stink! But seriously......it's lunchtime, dude.
Did Mommy wear you out yesterday? You were so sweet and so well behaved....even if we were in the car most the day.
You were such a big help at the grocery store.

Grabbing all the items you thought necessary for our pantry.....parsley, a cute little honey bear full of honey, a couple of lemons here, some sun dried tomatoes there....

You must've thought you had died and gone to Heaven when we rounded the canned food aisle. So much right at your grabby little fingertips. Hate to break it to you, but we do not need 3 packs of dried beans nor do we need that many cans of black olives. Yes, I know they are your and Mommy's favorite, but six cans are absurd! Put one back, please.

We had a couple more errands to run then we were back home in our jammies. You took a fabulous 3 hour nap and then I propped you up on the couch with your favorite show. When Daddy got home all you wanted to do was cuddle. Fine with me!

You took a bubble bath in Mommy's tub and were out like a light at 8:30......but it's 11 a.m. now......I know you are still breathing....I can hear you on the monitor.
That's fine, baby. You are going to Nana and Pawpaw's for the next two nights and I know there will be no taking of the naps....so rest now, angel. You are going to run and play so hard. And when Mommy and Daddy pick you up on Sunday, you can rest again.
