There is the rare occasion when his "Mommy?" is followed up with some statement or question, but typically, just silence. I suppose he's just checking to make sure I'm still around.

Hey Missy, not sure if you remember me or not but Emily and I are friends so I found your blog through hers and Laura's.
We have a lab and the exact same thing is going on with him. They keep telling us it benign too but who knows. So sad.....labs are the best dogs
